The Spice Girls are going to have enough spice kids to launch their own spin-off soon as another member of the supergroup has become a mom again.

Emma Bunton, aka Baby Spice, gave birth to her second son Friday.

"Our beautiful son Tate has arrived safe and sound,” Bunton, 35, tweeted after the birth of the 7-pound boy. “We are all so happy and excited. Thanks and love to you all. Xx."

Meanwhile Victoria Beckham, Posh Spice, is pregnant for the fourth time and expects her first girl in July. Mel B, Scary Spice, is expecting her third child and the newbie’s due a few weeks after Beckham.

Ginger Spice Geri Halliwell's five-year-old daughter, Bluebell, is the spitting image of her famous mom, right down to the signature red hair! And the fifth member of the singing troupe, Melanie Chrisholm, a.k.a. Sporty Spice, gave birth to daughter Scarlett in August 2008.

Children in catechism class are taught that the patron saint of forehead veins Angelina Jolie has had many bones in her body but the hate bone isn't one of them. But this is actually a lie. Angie Jo does have hate for something. It isn't food. It isn't American holidays that end in "ing." It also isn't clothes that look like they don't belong in the closet of a professional funeral seat-filler. The thing that Angie Jo hates is the sound of her own voice! Yes, the sound heaven's angels hear when they put their ears up against an empty conch shell on their grandma's coffee table (every grandma has an empty conch shell on their coffee tables, even in heaven) is the sound that Angie hates the most!

Pass me a plate of youknowthishoislying and then read what she said during an interview with USA Today for that Kung Fu Panda sequel.

Men might like her voice. Jolie hates it.

"You know, when you hear your own voice, you can find it quite boring and uninteresting," she says. "Suddenly, you get very shy that your voice is not enough, because I'm not musical and I don't know my voice."

Jack Black's ears perk up as Jolie talks about her early auditions for voice-over work. She says she was so nervous about getting jobs that she brought dozens of zany voices she plucked from thin air, including a crude Mae West imitation.

"You mean like, 'Come up and see me sometime?' " Black asks in a husky breath.

"That sounds more like Bogart doing Mae West," Jolie says. Black rolls his eyes. "Uh, that was Bogart in drag."

Angie can inject that "you know" up into her bulging forehead vein and speak for herself, because I happen to love the sound of my own voice. I especially love it when a telemarketer hears the sound of my voice and calls me "ma'm." Not even "miss," "mrs." or "Are your parents home, young lady?" MA'M! Those stupid bitches.

Although, I could be projecting a "ma'm" since when they call I'm usually wearing a sweatshirt with some kind of cartoon cat character on it and am in the middle of pulling my dog's ears back so they look like Princess Leia buns. But that's still not a ma'm! That's more like a "Ms. Aniston."

No, I'm not referring to Lara Croft herself, but to the production of the next Tomb Raider film. It had been something we'd heard was going to happen but never really did, until now, and with the news that the production is moving on comes the announcement of the writers. Ryan Gosling took a solo stroll in NYC yesterday, enjoying the lovely Spring day and strumming on a three-string guitar. He's back on the East Coast after a short visit to LA earlier in the week. Ryan's been all over the place this month, and soon he'll hop on a flight to the South of France for the Cannes Film Festival. Hollywood's hottest stars including Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, and Angelina Jolie are expected to premiere new projects at the annual cinema extravaganza, and Ryan will promote Drive alongside his costars Christina Hendricks and Carey Mulligan. Ryan, Christina, and Carey shot their racing flick in the California desert last Summer, and it looks like Ryan has lined up a new on-set buddy for the Summer of 2011. Ryan Gosling and Bradley Cooper are reportedly in talks to star in The Place Beyond the Pines, the latest effort from Blue Valentine director Derek Cianfrance.

Angelina Jolie worries her voice acting skills aren't up to snuff with her kids' high standards.

She voices the character Master Tigress in “Kung Fu Panda 2” but Angelina Jolie says she actually hates the sound of her own voice.

The “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” actress told press, “You know, when you hear your own voice, you can find it quite boring and uninteresting.”

Ang continued, “Suddenly you get very shy that your voice is not enough, because I”m not musical and I don’t know my voice.”

Meanwhile, Jolie had a great time working with Jack Black on the gig. "I was crazy about him. I had seen him in everything he'd done, but what I really knew him for was music. I don't have musical talent, so I always thought it was really cool that he could be an actor to a lot of us but equally a rock star."

Iron Man screenwriters Mark Fergus and Hawk Otsby have signed on to pen the Tomb Raider reboot.

And they have ambition. Clearly setting out to give Lara Croft back what little credibility she may have once had, they want to turn her into a bona fide screen heroine to do Ellen Ripley proud.

“We aim to write an origin story for Lara Croft,” they tell Variety, “that solidifies her place alongside Ellen Ripley and Sarah Connor in the pantheon of great female action heroes.”

That’ll be quite a challenge considering Croft’s better known as a voluptuous babe whose curvy video game figure simply cannot exist in nature (though Angelina Jolie came damn close).

Still, the fact that Fergus and Otsby have such lofty ambitions can only be a good thing. We just hope they can fully deliver on their promise of a kick-ass new action heroine.

Angelina Jolie touched down in Cambodia this week ahead of her photo shoot as the new face of Louis Vuitton. She had her four older children, Pax, Maddox, Shiloh, and Zahara, along for the trip. Most of you think Angelina Jolie is a good model for Louis Vuitton and the "core values" campaign, which will reportedly be shot by Annie, will show the actress on her "life journey." The journey to Cambodia is also a homecoming for Maddox, who was born there and adopted by Jolie in 2002. While Angelina is abroad with the big kids, Brad is holding down the fort back in LA with the twins. He hit up a party and Chris Cornell concert on Wednesday night after he hit the park with Knox and Vivienne earlier in the week. The whole Jolie-Pitt crew will be reunited next week for a visit to Cannes. Angelina will be showing off Kung Fu Panda 2 during the festival while Brad's highly anticipated Tree of Life will also be making its debut.

Angelina "Not So F**king" Jolie Totally Looks Like Rachael Ray (And Miley Cyrus)

Remember that "Tomb Raider" movie reboot we heard about a little while back that was simmering in development? No, the project isn't dead, but it did catch itself a couple of nice writers. "Cowboys & Aliens" and "Iron Man" scribes Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby were selected by GK Films to pen their own version of the sparkling new reboot. Producing the film is Tim Headington and Graham King, but no word on who they're looking at to direct at the moment.Now that the screen writers have been chosen, the one lingering question is who they'll cast to play Lara Croft. The voluptuous archaeologist from the video games was first brought to life on the big screen back in 2001, played by Angelina Jolie. When you have such a big named actor play a big screen version of one of the most iconic video game characters created in the past twenty years, that new actress has some tight shorts to fill. You would think the natural casting instinct would be to hunt down a rising actress for the role. Was it a friendly run-in? Brad Pitt and Courteney Cox were both spotted out dining at Beso in LA last night. After their respective dinners, Brad was headed off to enjoy a Chris Cornell concert at a nearby theater, while Courteney had her hands full with boxes and bags. Brad and Courteney's relationship, of course, has a long history, though the two were also spotted chatting at an event in 2009. Brad is currently holding down the fort at home with his kids as Angelina Jolie is reportedly in Cambodia shooting her Louis Vuitton ads. The couple will reunite next week in Cannes, where he is premiering Tree of Life and she is showcasing Kung Fu Panda 2 outside of the competition. The busy father's solo evening out on the town came after tending to his dad duties during the day, and Brad and his twins, Knox and Vivienne, were pictured playing at the park on an adorable outing together last week.

The next puzzle has been solved on the long road to a 2013 Tomb Raider reboot. Graham King’s GK Films got the big one out of the way in March when they announced they'd acquired [1] the rights to the franchise from Square Enix, which had previously been at Paramount. Next up, writers needed to be hired, and that's just fallen into place. Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby, both credited writers on Iron Man, Children of Men and the upcoming Cowboys & Aliens, and will attempt to craft an "origin story for Lara Croft that solidifies her place alongside Ellen Ripley and Sarah Connor in the pantheon of great female action heroes." Deadline broke [2] the story of Fergus and Ostby's hiring and The Hollywood Reporter [3] ran that statement that the film will be an origin story. There are two major issues with this. First, the initial success of Tomb Raider was never about how Lara Croft became such a bad ass. She just was a bad ass, much like Ellen Ripley and Sarah Connor. Though each of those characters grew into themselves over the course of Alien and The Terminator respectively, we never really saw what made them tick. The films just presented impossible circumstances that forced them to make violent and heroic choices. Would you ever want to see a movie about Sarah Connor that didn't include Terminators? A movie about Ellen Ripley that didn't include Aliens? Of course not. We like Lara Croft because she can shoot guns and solve puzzles, we don't care how she gained those skills. An origin story sounds like it could be Wanted meets the first 20 minutes of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade for two hours straight. Don't get me wrong, that stuff is fun, but it's also a side note informing a larger story. Fergus and Ostby will have to figure out a way to tell an origin while also giving us the character we love. The second issue, posed by Deadline, is Angelina Jolie. Jolie starred in two Tomb Raider's for Paramount and her casting was a master stroke. To us, there was no one else who could play that role. Not only was she perfect for it, she also happened to be one of the most bankable actresses of the time and an award winner. Rebooting a female action franchise that already starred someone of Jolie's stature is a near impossible task. Is there really a star out there who can not only follow in those footsteps but make us forget Jolie? Those are the issues facing not only Fergus and Ostby, but the producers as well. Do you agree? [1] Anthony Hopkins revealed in a recent interview that he's been talking to Angelina Jolie about taking on the role of Sir Winston Churchill in Churchill and Roosevelt. Although I haven't heard too many details about the film, it's probably safe to assume that Churchill and Roosevelt will focus on the two leaders' professional relationship during World War II. Jolie is said to be "developing" the film, though it's not clear whether her official role will be that of a producer, director, actress, or some combination thereof. She's apparently very excited about the project, however -- Hopkins said that Jolie has "got a thing about Churchill," whatever that means. Jolie recently sent a synopsis of the script to Hopkins, but the actor has not yet confirmed his involvement. One thing holding him back may be the politician's famously rotund physique: "I don’t know, I’d have to put on some weight to play Churchill," Hopkins joked to the interviewer. "I’ve just taken the weight off, I’d have to put it back on again." The project is still seeking a Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Churchill's most recent big-screen appearance was in last year's The King's Speech, where he was played by Timothy Spall. Hopkins, in case you haven't heard, is starring in this weekend's Thor as the Norse god Odin. Because I didn't. Michael Kelly has joined the cast of Chronicle, a sci-fi thriller to be directed by Josh Trank from a script by Max Landis. The film revolves around "three Portland teens who develop powers from exposure to a mysterious substance." Michael B. Jordan (Friday Night Lights), Dane DeHaan (In Treatment), Ashley Hinshaw (LOL) and Alex Russell (Bait) also star. Kelly will reportedly be playing the part of a father, although it's not clear exactly whose father he will be. In addition to his starring role on Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior, Kelly's previous experience includes parts in Generation Kill, The Sopranos and Zack Snyder's Dawn of the Dead. Most recently, he appeared in the Philip K. Dick adaptation The Adjustment Bureau. Back in March we learned that GK Films, the company behind films like The Town and Rango, had picked up the rights to the Tomb Raider video game franchise for a feature film reboot. Now it looks like the wheels are finally turning on the project as the company has just announced that writers Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby, the duo behind screenplays for films like Iron Man, Children of Men and most recently Cowboys & Aliens have been hired to script the reboot. The top baby names list for 2010 was announced this morning on "Today" by the Social Security Administration, and many of the chart-toppers come as no surprise. However, some names that made the list might have been inspired by unexpected trendsetters, including some of the stars of MTV's reality show "Teen Mom."

Surprisingly, the name Joshua didn't make the cut for the first time since 1978.

In addition to the most popular names, the SSA also revealed a list of trending baby names that show the biggest spikes in popularity. Leading the trending girls name: Maci, the moniker of "Teen Mom" star Maci Bookout. Her son's name, Bentley, ranked as number one for the biggest trending name for boys.

Also noteworthy: Knox, one of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's twins, and "Twilight" name Kellen appear on the trending list, too.

The Iron Man and Cowboys & Aliens writing team of Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby have been hired by GK Films to script the rebooted Tomb Raider film franchise. They will create a new adventure storyline for archaeologist/adventuress Lara Croft, played in the original Paramount films by Angelina Jolie. GK partners Graham King and Tim Headington are producing. CAA-repped Fergus and Ostby most recently re-teamed with director Jon Favreau for Cowboys & Aliens, which Universal releases July 29 and their other credits include Children of Men. In March, GK made a deal for the rights with London-based videogame company Eidos. The real obstacle for this reboot is overcoming the fact that the ideal actress for the Lara Croft franchise is the one who played her in the first place. Female-driven action films have proven to be something of a dead zone in most cases. Besides Jolie, few actresses have been successful as action heroes, with Kate Beckinsale doing business in the Underworld series and Mila Jovovich in the Resident Evil films. Beyond getting a strong script and filmmaker, GK’s challenge will be combing the list of up and coming actresses to find the next Jolie.
