I love how they broke the stereotypical 'prom queen' trend to show people was it is really all about. Being pretty, skinny, and having a big house has nothing to do with whether you deserve the crown or not. It's who you are as a person, and Cady (Lindsay Lohan) resembled what a real prom queen should be. She was humble, compassionate, and smart, and when she 'shared' the crown with everyone at the prom, it revealed and confirmed all of these traits!<br /><strong><br />Personal Prom Experience</strong>:<br />Since I'm home schooled and don't go to public/private high school, I don't get the opportunity to go to prom! The bracelets featured here are from Tarina Tarantino, the others were found at various flea markets.</p> <p><strong>Ring</strong>: Kyle gave me this ring for Christmas, it's made from deer antler. It's one of my favorite items and I always carry it with me as a reminder of him &lt;3</p> <p><strong>Snacks</strong>: I ate the very last green tea flavored Kit-Kat bar before I took this photo, but included&nbsp;the wrapper&nbsp;in the post because I always try to have some sort of snack on me at all times. I get hungry and when I get hungry I can get a bit angry if not fed immediately (I call it getting "hangry" angry+hungry). These exotic flavored Kit-Kats can be found at your local Asian supermarkets.</p> <p><strong>Hand Sanitizer</strong>: JAO makes this awesome hand sanitizer that smells like tea and lavender. I love it!</p> <p><strong>Flashlight</strong>: I constantly lose things in my car, so I now carry a flashlight on me to help me look around for things in the dark. This is my favorite new item I found at a flea market- it's a 1992 Wolverine from the X-Men flashlight. I LOVE IT!</p> <p><strong>Day Planner</strong>: Without my day planner, I'm lost. I got this super cute Suzy Zoo day planner from the dollar section at Target. It's a two year planner with a bunch of writing space, so much value for a buck!</p> <p><strong>Extra socks</strong>: Okay, this may be weird, but I carry extra socks with me to work sometimes. <p>If you're in the public eye it's now "normal" to get things fixed that the media points out. Some look better after plastic surgery, and some, well... look worse. So when Bristol Palin went under the knife and got her cheeks done, chin, and more, people started to talk. Her face was a bit chubby but it looked good. But now... If anyone tried to read the drum part that I wrote for this song, they would be like "what the hell am I looking at?!" Every couple of years I would be digging in there for an extra set of ear plugs and I would find it and crack up! In those days Jimmy was really into using non-drum sounds to make the electronic percussion in our songs, so when it came time to translate them to what I would play for recording and live, sometimes I had to be really creative... He limped out, and they spent the rest of the show standing on Bowery waiting for the madness to be over. <p>Last night I went to the Wiltern with <a href="http://keltiecolleen.buzznet.com">Keltie Colleen</a> to see <a href="http://www.christinaperri.com">Christina Perri</a>! I've seen her perform acoustic once before, at Keltie's reading for <a href="http://keltiecolleendance.com ">Rockettes, Rockstars and Rockbottom </a>(<a href="http://breesays-keltiecolleenslareading.buzznet.com/user/photos/">pics here</a>), but this was a spectacular experience because she got to play a full set to a packed crowd.</p> <p><img src="http://cdn.buzznet.com/assets/imgx/1/4/2/0/6/9/6/1/orig-14206961.jpg" /></p> <p>Christina opened her set with 'Bang Bang Bang'--my personal FAVORITE song off her upcoming album,<em> Lovestrong</em>.</p> <p>She followed with 'Daydream', and then 'Black and Blue', which is a bonus track from her EP. At that point in the show Keltie was running out to hand off a pass to her man, but right when she was at the door Christina announced, "This one goes out to Keltie" which prompted her to SPRINT back down the walkway screaming "OHMYGOD I LOVE YOU THIS IS MY FAVORITE SONG!!!"</p> <p>After that was, 'The Lonely' one of my fave songs lyrically--"I'm the ghost of a girl I want to be most." So good, right?</p> <p>'Mine' was a great dance-y tune, very Regina Spektor-ish. If anyone tried to read the drum part that I wrote for this song, they would be like "what the hell am I looking at?!" Every couple of years I would be digging in there for an extra set of ear plugs and I would find it and crack up! In those days Jimmy was really into using non-drum sounds to make the electronic percussion in our songs, so when it came time to translate them to what I would play for recording and live, sometimes I had to be really creative... He limped out, and they spent the rest of the show standing on Bowery waiting for the madness to be over. That means that people are all like, saying prayers and stuff for things because they are being nice.</p> <p>Before anyone gets all BAH RELIGION BOO on me, let me first say that "prayer" doesn't have to be associated with any one religion or any religion at all. I don't mediate, either. I used to meditate but I just haven't in a really long time. I think those two things are sort of the same. Sometimes you just need some quiet time to think and what not. In a way, it works. It's part of your minds ability to heal itself and your body.
