Comic Review: Nonplayer #1

You may have wondered why I didn’t review the latest mania to hit comics, that of “Nonplayer” by Image.  In truth, the reason is because I couldn’t get a copy out here in Australia.  Though, because eBay and I are best of buds, my first print copy arrived today and I read it straight up.

Hope of The Gods, Or Who Gives a Nordic Heck About Thor?

I’m thrilled that the folks at Marvel have decided to finally make some of their big name superheroes into films. To actually see Wolverine go all ‘berserker barrage’ was fantastic. The Human Torch chasing the Silver Surfer through a tunnel in the second Fantastic Four was beyond awesome, even if the film kind of sucked. For one reason or another though, I am just not excited about Thor.
