I would love to think that I have unconsciously saved many animals. But one that I am sure I helped out was a pigeon. Years ago a friend of mine and I found a pigeon that had hurt its wing, we named it Dummy. We kept it as a pet for many months until it healed. At that point it up and left us, which is great. Except a that time I was upset. :)
